I was wondering how affiliate members are promoting their affiliate links?

I don't think I've ever seen any affiliate post on our forum, however from what I've reviewed (I also review some of the affiliate websites) they are primarily using blogs, video websites (youtube and the like), websites, forums and email. Also off line is used (mouth to mouth), but to a smaller extent.

Social media, such as facebook, myspace, etc is not being used that much (which is a shame, because I really beleive there is a very specific market there that needs to be explored).

Wa Alaykum Salaam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu,

I was only asking because I haven't seen any CYS affiliate ads any where and I was looking for ideas.

I wrote a plugin for WordPress for my own use and decided to share it with others. It makes it easy to add affiliate ads in posts and pages and even comes with a widget to display ads in the sidebar.

I emailed someone from this site with the suggestion to put the plugin on the affiliate tools page on this site but I am still waiting to here back from them.

I can give a link to the plugin if you want.
