Easy Apple Pie
Sweet Pie
250g (9oz) ready-made shortcrust pastry
2 tablespoons milk to glaze
2x410g (14oz) cans unsweetened apple slices
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
4 tablespoons caster sugar
1- Preheat oven to 200°C/400°F/ gas 6. Lightly grease a 25cm pie dish. Cut pastry in half. On a lightly floured surface, roll out half the pastry and use to line prepared dish.

The Prophet (saaws) said "whoever doesn't show mercy to the young isn't one of us" .
So when does the tasting begin? |

Asalamu Alikum
AlhamdulilAllah its good to know that we are getting ready for Ramadan
here is a recipe
__Coconut Pie
the Ingredients are.........
one cup softened butter (eight ounces or 225 g)
one-half cup Sugar
two eggs, beaten
one cup milk
two cups grated coconut
one teaspoon vanilla
a pinch of baking soda
one-half teaspoon grated nutmeg (optional)
one 9-inch pie shell
the Directions are...
Preheat oven to 350° F. In a large kitchen bowl make the filling by blending together all of the ingredients, starting with the butter and Sugar, then adding other ingredients. Pour into the baked pie shell.
Cover with the pie crust strips, arranged in a criss-cross pattern, if desired.
Bake in a 350° F oven until filling is done and crust is golden brown -- 30 to 40 minutes. Serve warm, or cooled to room temperature.
InshaAllah everyone should try this recipe:)

I suppose I'll do the task of feeding the guests. After all, being kind to guests is the habit of Ibraheem (a.s). |
