May the peace and blessing of Allah be with you. I am writing to seek help and advice from any brother living in Perth Australia. Insh Allah I will move there in about a month for a job. I never been in Australia and do not know the country at all. I would like to be in contact with brothers who may provide advices that will make my settlement as smooth as possible. These may be: advices about the rents, specially good places close to masjids, halal stores, prices for common utilities, etc...and any other advices you think may help me. As-salam aleykum.

I dont live in Perth, But I did live there for 5 years, about 6 years ago.
Living in Perth is great and a nice clean city and the city is divided into two parts. South of the river and the North of the river. I would recommend living south of the river as there is more Islamic senters and halal shops and more Muslims living there. Thornlie is a good area for Muslims, and rent is cheaper than other areas.
