Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
pls clarify somethings for me. i bought a khalid yasin cd(it seems a pirated one) and plan to distribute among my friends only.i DONT plan to make any money from it.am i allowed to share.is this okay to do according to your standards and if no then why?? (and how am i supposed to share this knowledge with my friends. should i force them to pay as well??) honestly it sounds very ridiculous and selfish.
and pls note i live in india and as far as i know we dont get original dvds here.only pirated stuff everywhere.and in this case is it ok to buy these.i cannot buy from the internet either because i dont own a credit card..
honestly i think ur rules are too strict.this way not only will you with hold all the knowledge of the shaykh and be responsible for it but ull never progress in ur dawah effort either. u wont benefit urselves or the masses.consider this there are many people who have to be coaxed into watching or listening to islamic media content. am talking of these people who have low iman or are non muslims.how on earth are we supposed to spread the dawah to them if it is a requirement that every indivual owns a separate copy, and they are supposed to have one each??
the only reason keeping me away from MASS PRODUCING ALL of ur DVDs is because im confused about your laws and need a clarification and definitely wont do anything haram.. so i await ur response to my questions and if ur kind enough ull give me ur permission to spread these for the sake of Allah as well.

i just looked at my post and noticed i was harsh in my tone.im just pissed at your policies.but i have to remember some of you make a living out of this right? i was wondering if these dvds are available in india anywhere? and if i live in another city? or if i dont own a credit card.do i then have ur permission to acquire it illegally? pls consider.....
